ECOLOGICAL CRISIS AND CRITICISM, PANEL DISCUSSION (English language)

The global problems of the environment and social justice require that the arts and humanities deliberately focus on what has become a work of imperative urgency: to establish the principles of postgrowth, degrowth and boundary as fundamental guidelines of the our work and our life. It is necessary to build new imaginaries so that communities do not remain dependent on growth. Through various examples drawn from literature, art, critical thinking, philosophy and history, this panel intends to present alternative ways of thinking outside the logic of continuous progress that is evidently leading humanity to live its worst scenarios dystopian.
